tell Gun Pornagrapher, Sen. Mark Kirk no on his fake gun legislation named for Hadiya Pengleton. His perverse pandering to the NRA and pimping for gun proliferation contributed to her death.

Pull no punches when demanding immediate reform and intelligent legislation on guns. Do’t be fooled. The extremist gun lobby characterizes him as poor on voting, but he ran on his “support for the 2nd Amendment,” which we all know is a tacit endorsement of the NRA adgenda. His legislation does not go far enough to make it honest or productive.

Kirk will introduce the Gillibrand-Kirk Gun Trafficking Prevention Act of 2013 would empower local, state, and federal law enforcement to investigate and prosecute gun traffickers and their entire criminal networks, including gangs, cartels and organized crime rings. But most guns used in killing children on America’s streets are purchased legally by individuals. This is what needs to be in that bill:

1. Make Straw buying a felony
2. Mandatory checks for all gun shows
3. A crime to sell or trade guns privately without documentation(like we do for car sales person to person)
4. A crime for failure to report a missing or stolen gun beyond 48 hours.
