One guy tries to light his shoe on fire on an airplane 10 years ago and we are still taking off our shoes in airports. 34 mass shootings at schools since Columbine and nothing happens. All of the shooters owned their guns legally. The NRA makes its money from the proliferation of guns, and the government keeps cutting funding for mental health clinics. Stop the pretend tears and fake shock and solve the problem, unless deep down you like burying children by the scores.

The City of Chicago has cut funding and closed mental health clinics, like other municipalities across this nation. The NRA attacks and attempts to smear and discredit anyone who criticizes gun proliferation, and any attempt at reasonable gun control. Why? Because they are connected to the gun industry which drives huge profits by frightening members, convincing them they must arm against the government and deluding them that Obama will grab their guns.

Is this a mental health issue? yes. They are alllllll mental health issues. Every gunman shooting up our schools and malls are quickly framed in tears of some mental illness or deficiency. That’s a given, but they are still getting guns and massive amounts of ammunition-legally. How is that? Is the market for guns that lax?

This is an appeal to NRA members who care about family, children and community to  denounce the blood-drenched gun consumerism and fear-marketing. If not now, when? Guns should be tools not  a religion…
